MATH 215 Discrete Mathematics

Description. This course covers a variety of topics that are of importance in the applications of mathematics, particularly in computer science, and are not covered in Calculus. Topics include: logic and proof, sets and functions, induction and recursion, number theory (dealing mostly with divisibility of natural numbers), counting and probability, and basic theory of directed graphs.
